When we first started Louper, our mission was simple: to make livestreaming, over-the-shoulder review for post-production teams as easy and effective as possible. Over time, that mission expanded as we saw teams juggling multiple tools to get through a single project: tools like Zoom or Google Meet for general meetings, Louper or Evercast for real-time reviews, and tools like Frame.io or MediaSilo for asynchronous collaboration and asset management.
Now, Louper brings all of that together in one platform.
For the first time ever, creative teams can manage their entire collaboration workflow—real-time and asynchronous—in one place.
This is Louper, the way we’ve always imagined it. It’s taken a lot of listening, refining and building to get here, and we’re incredibly proud to share it with you.
Why Did We Build Louper 2.0?
We’ve all been there. You’re switching between tools for real-time collaboration, sharing edits, gathering feedback, storing files, and delivering assets. It’s messy, frustrating, and often pulls focus away from the creative process.
We built Louper 2.0 because we believe collaboration shouldn’t feel like a second job. We wanted to give teams one platform where they can handle everything—real-time collaboration, asset management, feedback, and even polished client presentations.
But 2.0 isn’t just about consolidating tools. It’s about improving how collaboration happens.
With Louper Transmit, our native livestreaming plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro (available today) and Avid Media Composer (available soon), you can stream your timeline directly—without leaving your NLE. And with the new ability to post timestamped comments on files together during live reviews, feedback becomes faster, clearer, and more actionable.
We’ve been using these features ourselves while creating new product marketing videos for Louper 2.0, and it’s been a revelation. Instead of scattered, out-of-sync feedback, teams can now collaborate in a single session, reach consensus, and shorten review cycles—delivering projects faster and with far less friction.
Our goal? To save you time, spare you the frustration and costs of juggling multiple tools, and keep your focus where it belongs: on creating amazing work.
What’s new in Louper 2.0?

Support for more file types and better file management
Upload video, audio, and image files to the overhauled Filespaces section of your dashboard. Create Filespaces for each project you are working on, and upload and organize assets within each Filespace more easily than ever before.
Timestamped Comments and Review Links
You asked, and we delivered! Frame-specific feedback is a staple of post-production collaboration, and with Louper, it’s now built right into the platform. Post timestamped comments and drawing annotations on files whether you’re in a live Room, viewing a Review Link, or working directly in your dashboard.
What sets Louper apart is the ability to combine real-time collaboration and timestamped comments seamlessly. Include files to review in a Livestream Room or Presentation Room, then review those files and post comments together in sync. Post precise feedback and reach consensus faster—all without switching between tools.
You can also share Review Links with your team or clients, so they can review and provide feedback on uploaded assets when real-time isn’t possible. It’s a simple way to keep things moving, even when schedules don’t line up. Collaborators can mark things as “complete” or reply to comments in a thread, and download comments in a variety of formats for external use.

A New Kind of Room
The rooms you know and love are now called Livestream Rooms - and they’ve been given a makeover: new conferencing layouts make rooms useful not just for content review, but also for general video conferencing meetings. Powerful, built-in AI-powered noise and echo cancellation from Krisp means clearer communication, free from background distractions, so you can stay focused on the work at hand.
But there’s more: Presentation Rooms. These rooms function like Livestream Rooms but are designed specifically for reviewing uploaded files together, without the option to receive a livestream. They’re perfect for collaborative review sessions focused on pre-uploaded video, audio, or image files—and they’re not currently billed the same way we bill for Livestream Rooms, so you can create multiple Presentation Rooms as needed.
For a more detailed overview of our new Presentation Rooms, please watch our Feature Spotlight.
Showcases
When it’s time to share approved cuts or create a showreel, Louper 2.0 makes it simple. The new Showcase feature lets you send clients polished, professional presentations that look just as good as the work you’re sharing. Use them for sending deliverables to existing clients, or for sending showreels to potential clients.
